The basics

So, what isblue light?

Blue light is a natural phenomenon and is present in natural daylight. Our bodies use it as a signal that it's time to be awake. The trouble is, digital screens emit blue light, too, and overexposure (especially in the evening) can leave us feeling wide awake when we'd rather be winding down. And we're all looking at more screens than ever: phones, laptops, TVs and more.

High energy, short wavelength. Blue light sits at the 400–500nm end of the visible spectrum. Our filter softens a proportion of this band before it reaches your eye.

Why upgrade

A little relief,on every screen.

Whether or not you wear a prescription, reducing your exposure to blue light can improve your visual comfort by softening harsh digital displays and help you win back that natural evening sleepiness when you've been on a device.

  • Warmer, softer screens; with reduced visual harshness
  • Easier evenings; wear them before bed to help protect natural sleepiness
  • Prescription or not; £30 on prescription, free on non-prescription

How it works

A coating thatcalms your screens.

Our blue light filter is a lens coating that reduces the amount of blue light reaching your eyes, making the digital world a little more comfortable to look at. It can help reduce eye strain, fatigue and sleepiness, so you can work longer and more comfortably on screens.

  • Filters blue light reaching the eye from screens and the sun
  • Eases eye strain & fatigue during long stretches at a screen
  • Anti-smudge & anti-grease on top of anti-reflective and anti-scratch

The benefits

Why you'lllove them.

Improved visual comfort

Softens the harsh whiteness of lighting and screens, making work a little easier on the eye.

Reduced sleeplessness

Worn in the evening, they may help limit blue light's effect on your natural rhythm when you're on a device before bed.

Premium coating

Scored 75% easier to clean than competitors in an independent study. Repels grease, dirt, water and dust too.
