Why we exist
Eyewear needed a more human experience.
We thought the industry had drifted too far from the person wearing the glasses.
Too much jargon. Too much pressure. Too many extra charges dressed up as essentials.
Too many people leaving with something expensive, uninspiring, or never quite right for them.
So we built IOLLA around a simpler idea. Great glasses should feel clear, fair and genuinely enjoyable to buy.
Behind every pair of glasses is a person. So before we recommend anything, we take the time to understand how someone lives, what they need, and what will make them feel most like themselves.

IOLLA started in Glasgow in 2015 because we were tired of watching people get ripped off. A decade later, we're still in the same city, still independent, and still just as determined to prove that eyewear can be honest, fair and actually enjoyable to buy.
Our team of 80+ people wake up every day believing the same thing: everyone deserves to look and feel great.
