Online orders

You can continue to shop with us online and have your eyewear shipped direct to you in the comfort of your home. We’ve introduced free delivery across all of our products during this time.

If you’re in a rush for glasses please contact us via phone and we’ll do everything we can to get them to you as quickly as we can.

Existing customer? We hold your prescription and measurement details on file, so there will be no need to send these details again, provided they’re still valid.

Although we do aim to maintain existing delivery timelines during this time, please bear with us if there’s a little delay.

We’ve already implemented strict measures to ensure that we’re making the IOLLA workshop a safe place for our team to assemble and dispatch your glasses. These measures include the use of personal protection equipment, a skeleton rota and a reconfigured layout to ensure our staff are spaced out into different rooms or areas, well over the recommended 2m spacing. Our aim is to keep sending your eyewear to you whilst ensuring the safety of everyone involved. We know that both you and our staff expect nothing less.

For so many people, eyewear is an essential item and during this already difficult time for people, we believe that if we are able to have a positive impact, make someone’s day or enable them to continue to carry out their essential work, then we’ll continue to operate.

Update - 21st March 2020

From individuals to communities, businesses and beyond, we'll see this out together.

Throughout the last eight days we have implemented and also escalated measures to try and play our part in slowing the spread of coronavirus. Today, we go further. From tomorrow, the 22nd of March at 5pm we will temporarily close all of our showroom locations.

The safety of our employees and our community is our top priority, and for this reason, we are taking the next step to help reduce the transmission speed of Coronavirus where we can. Further, we all know IOLLA to be a place for our community and team to enjoy their time, be social and feel great. Unfortunately, due to events completely outwith our control, this is no longer possible.

We’re mobilising as many of our people as we can to focus on the positive, the future and the opportunities that lie ahead. We fully intend on protecting as many jobs for the fantastic IOLLA team as we can.

To all of our customers with orders in production or ready to collect at a showroom, we are offering Free UK Shipping to your home address, please get in contact with us to have this arranged or pop in to a showroom to collect before we temporarily close. At the moment we plan for our workshop team to be operational as long as we can be, so we’re still able to assemble and dispatch all home delivery orders as usual. Extract from Update - 19th March 2020

In the interest of safety, we ask that all members of the public that are currently experiencing a high temperature or a new continuous cough do not enter our showrooms. We ourselves are ensuring that only team members who are symptom free and able to work are doing so.

As a business, we want to continue to support and protect our teams and our community as much as we can and so we are introducing further measures, beyond those first introduced on the 13th of March. From 10am today (the 19th of March) we will be:

  • Offering Free UK Shipping for all new orders and all orders that are at, or due to be delivered to a showroom ready for collection
  • Introducing a maximum number of IOLLA visitors in our showrooms
  • Eliminating all but critical glasses adjustments undertaken in our showrooms
  • Asking everyone entering IOLLA premises to use hand sanitiser upon entering
  • Enhancing social distancing measures throughout our HQ team

We will also be maintaining the levels of tip top cleanliness that we initially put out in our update on the 13th of March, as detailed at the bottom of this update.

Free UK Shipping

We are now offering Free UK shipping via on all of the following:

  • New orders placed both online and in a showroom
  • Orders in production that were due for delivery to a showroom
  • Orders currently waiting to be collected at a showroom

Our customer service team will email all customers who have glasses ready to collect or in production to offer this service, please contact to help us arrange this for you, they would be delighted to chat! For glasses that are currently in a showroom, please allow up to 7 days for these to be delivered to you.

Our showroom teams will be offering this service on all new orders with immediate effect, for every new order placed from today.

Showroom updates

With immediate effect, our showrooms will introduce measures with the aim of reducing the volume of people in our space at any one time, especially during lunch times during the week, and weekends. Please follow guidance that will be displayed on the front door of each of our showrooms. We’ll be going as fast as we can, so hopefully any waits will be kept to a minimum. We also ask that everyone who enters our showroom uses our hand sanitiser prior to trying any glasses, so we’re all following the best practices we can.

A further method we’d like to take to slow the spread of the virus is that we reduce adjustments to only those that are absolutely necessary. We’d greatly appreciate that any minor adjustments are held off until we’re all allowed to have a little more contact. As always, our customer support team can guide and assist you on the fitting of your frames, so please reach out to them if required.

Extract from Update - 13th March 2020

We aim to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation and safety across all of our locations. We are currently taking additional proactive measures in all IOLLA showrooms to keep our community as healthy as possible including:

Introducing thorough staff personal hygiene guidelines that will be followed in between customer transactions and throughout the day

  • Meticulously cleaning and decontaminating areas with high points of contact such as devices, handles and stationary
  • Using appropriate cleaning solutions to regularly decontaminate frames and surfaces throughout each day
  • Equipping our teams and locations with proper training, tools and sanitation materials
